Learn how to sculpt a small black cat to decorate your home for the spooky season! During class, students will be guided through the sculpting process and learn basic handbuilding and clay-shaping techniques. No prior pottery experience is required, and all skill levels are welcome. After class, pieces will remain at Appalachian Arts to be dried, fired, and finished. Students will be notified by email when their creations are ready to pick up, approximately 3–4 weeks after class.
Age: 8+ if accompanied by a participating adult. 16 is the minimum age to attend the class alone. https://www.oakridgetn.gov/calendar.aspx?EID=4833
