Bays Mountain Park has partnered with a local yoga instructor to offer a Scenic Planetarium Yoga class to the community this Friday.
The 40-minute class will take place in the planetarium theater on October 2 beginning at 10 a.m. where participants will be surrounded by views of nature while moving through a series of yoga poses.
Concentric, eccentric and isometric contractions will be incorporated so participants can work to optimize both their strength and balance. The class concludes with a view of the starry night sky for a restorative ending.
The cost of the program is $12 per person, the class is limited to 10 participants, and you will need to bring your own mat. Feel free to bring water with a sealable lid. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time. Late arrivals cannot be admitted.
